Data Engineer- LasVegas, NV Create new customer data products ETL work to automate creation of data marts Understanding of Data modelling and schema design Experience with AWS or Azure (preferred) development Knowledge of AWS Lambda or Azure Functions (serverless compute) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit test Github Agile (Scrum) development ability to accurately size user stories Java/Scala/Pythin Language Strong SQL skills Knowledge of NoSQL databases Experience developing Spark jobs/processes Minimum of 5 years experience in big data engineering BS Degree in STEM area Required Skills : Scala Spark Git or Github Agile methodology NoSQL databases Basic Qualification : 5+ years of experience in big data engineering with Spark Experience working with Scala Experience with Agile methodology Prior cloud development experience and/or understanding(Azure preferred, but AWS is fine as well) Knowledge of NoSQL databases
