Job Title : Data Engineer

 Location: Dallas, TX

 Duration: 6 Months+

 Skills: HiveQL or HQL Hive Hadoop Python Scripting SQL development

Job Description

  • Expectation that the Engineer will serve in an on-call capacity approx.. 1 week each 6 weeks. This is mainly during weekday business hours as we have an offshore support team and normally light/minimal time during the weekend during their on-call week
  • Will have an opportunity to learn Snowflake/Cloud migration with the team
     

Must-Have Requirements

  • 1-2 years Hands on Experience with Datastage
  • Excellent zoom/phone communications skills
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems and follow-through with excellent initiative
  • Excellent Documentation & skills and a clear understanding that documentation is a critical aspect of this role

  • Control-M
  • Gitlab
  • Linux/Unix Scripting
