Data Engineer Location: Dallas, TX Experience: 9+ years Duration: Long-term Experience with Streaming or batch data load ( minimum 2 years) Programming language experience such as R, Python, Node JS( minimum 1 year) Dev ops experience ( min 1 year) Big data & technologies experience Experience working with AWS Technologies ( minimum 2-3 years) Experience in automation/configuration management using Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Saltstack, Bosh, Terraform or an equivalent. Responsibilities : Responsible for the ingestion, maintenance, improvement, cleaning, and manipulation of data during dev and maintenance phase of the warehouse. Implements, troubleshoots, and optimize solutions based on modern technologies like Redshift, SQL, AQS, Glue, etc. Define and build large-scale near real-time streaming data processing pipelines that will enable faster, better, data-informed decision making within the business. Keep up with industry trends and best practices on new and improved data engineering strategies that will drive departmental performance leading to improvement in overall improvement in data governance across the business, promoting informed decision-making, and ultimately improving overall business performance.
