Job Duties: Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios Provide full stack support utilizing Java and AngularJS Utilize Go programming and Node.JS to develop and deploy AWS Lambda functions Provide 3rd level support of software solution as needed Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies Participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community Interact with other card technology teams within Capital One Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity Deploy DevOps techniques and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, Build Automation and Test-Driven Development to enable the rapid delivery of working code utilizing tools like Jenkins, Nexus, Git and Docker Build, deploy end to end data and ETL solutions in AWS cloud environment using Python, Scala on Apache Spark framework Experience in building Big data solutions with AWS services including S3, EMR/EC2 and Lambda Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
