Datacenter Support Engineer
We are seeking a Datacenter Support Engineer to support the company’s data centers from build up to day-to-day operations. Main responsibilities installing and configuring systems and networking, handling day-to-day operations, hardware and OS troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and supporting DevOps and software teams. The candidate should have experience with a 24/7 datacenter operations environment and experience with both hardware and software. Occasional travel may be required.
This role will need to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and cross-geography with other engineering teams. You should have a strong interest in maintaining HPC Data Center IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, passionate about solving problems and investigating the root cause. And is excited about working in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment.
Required qualifications:
A BS in related field or equivalent experience
Experience troubleshooting computer hardware
Experience installing and configuring servers
Experience troubleshooting IP networking
Experience troubleshooting Linux
Desirable qualifications
Scripting shell and python
Knowledge of support ticketing systems
Experience supporting software developers
A+ certification or equivalent knowledge
