The candidate is expected to be a senior data architect and consultant who can interact with clients and lead technical and business discussions, understand business needs, guide client on architecture options, solution components for identified business scenarios and help with the design, build and implementation of the data and BI capability. An ideal candidate must have been in a BI and Data Architecture consulting role where he/she has led the setup of several complex data-oriented solutions on prem and cloud with multiple integrations and end user reporting needs
The ideal candidate will need to envision, design and implement the solution working with customer and internal WinWire technical team. The candidate is expected to have the following expertise with prior experience in the Life Sciences industry and worked on setting up the Data Warehouse for Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory affairs
Data Analytics
1. Mandatory to have Microsoft Azure Data Platform experience – Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Data warehouse, Data Factory, Other real time integration
2. Ability to understand the BI and reporting needs of the client.
3. Map the reporting and Analytics needs to data elements in the source
4. Must have data migration experience from On Prem and Cloud platforms to Azure like Teradata
5. Must have experience in bringing in data from AWS cloud storage into Azure
6. Must have BI / reporting migration experience from other tools to Power BI
7. Must have worked on several projects in the Data warehousing and Big data space with at least 2 Data Platform projects leveraging Azure Data services stated above
8. Designing the Data Lake, DB schema, data models for large scale data platform implementation on Azure
9. Creating Pipelines and integrations of multiple data sources using several integration technologies
10. Understands and can consult on the following key topics
a. Data ingestion and integration approaches
b. Data Analytics
c. KPI definitions
d. Data visualization option leveraging Power BI
e. Master Data Management
11. Good to have knowledge of ML/AI platforms and how to leverage them for solutions involving customer data analytics, retail store operations etc.
Hands-on with minimum experience with
1. Power BI (2+ years)
2. Azure Data Platform (2+ years) – Data Lake, DW, Integration services (ADF, Eventhub)
3. SQL Server - must have 4+ Yrs. experience
4. Azure ML (1 year)
5. Designing complex and large database schema, data models
6. Programming and optimizing DB objects Views, Stored Procs, Functions
Reporting and Analytics
1. Must have experience in Power BI – Paginated reporting functionality
2. Designing Reports and dashboards against cloud and on-prem data sources
Others
1. Experience in Pharmacovigilance Domain in Life Science industry will be highly preferred for Elanco / Spencer’s Retail domine
2. Experience with Veeva RIM and SAP source system will be highly preferred
