Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive proven hands-on data modeling and software development experience with an understanding of finance, accounting, and procurement applications and technology.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with multiple personnel/departments will be crucial.
  • Strong experience with enterprise-wide system solutions, integrations, data warehouse development, and governance.
  • Implementation experience and strong knowledge in Enterprise Applications such as Oracle Fusion ERP/Oracle E-Business suite is required.
  • Attention to detail and strong team player.
  • Adaptable, ability to manage multiple priorities, organized, and independent.
  • Strong documentation skills of process, steps, and methodology.

Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable and efficient Data Analytics solutions that align with business goals and best practices.
  • Strong data modeling skills and familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
  • Elicit reporting requirements from stakeholders and take charge of designing efficient, scalable reporting solutions. Offer technical direction and expertise, adhering to reporting and technology best practices.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Fusion ERP financials tables, views, and data elements.
  • Design and develop data modeling, data warehouse, and reports for the end users and drive the administration of enterprise-wide reporting/business intelligence/analytics.
  • Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts, encompassing both relational and dimensional aspects.
  • Proven experience in performance tuning related to reporting queries.
  • Understanding of data integration challenges, including data validation and data cleaning issues.
  • Create and maintain meticulous design documents related to reporting initiatives involving the development of detailed data mapping and transformation rules.
  • Liaison with the application architecture, data engineers, business analysts, and PMO teams to ensure guidelines and processes across all technology initiatives are aligned properly.
  • Prioritize and capture ad-hoc reporting requests, striving to create standardized dynamic reports where possible to meet evolving needs.
  • Evaluate existing reports, mapping capabilities against standards for performance, scalability, security, error logging, and auditing. Propose modifications to better align with business requirements.
  • Experience with Splash BI, BICC, BI Publisher, or other reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodology using tools like JIRA, Confluence.
