Location: Piscataway, NJ,
Data Architect position based at our Piscataway, NJ location. This role will be part of the Data Warehousing and Data Architecture team, modernizing systems and driving overall data architecture across the organization.
You will work in a highly upbeat and collaborative team environment among Data Architects, Data Engineers and Data Analysts.
Main Responsibilities: 
  • Establish data architecture principles, build models of data that enable the implementation of the business architecture, generate diagrams displaying keydata entities, and produce an inventory of the data needed to realize the architecture vision.
  • Define how the data is stored, consumed, coordinated and led by different data entities and IT systems.
  • Engage with the data management team in best practices for data sourcing, key data elements, data quality management and metadata.
  • Engage with the data warehousing team in the migration to cloud warehousing
  • Provide data initiatives, evaluations, and mentorship with projects in accordance to our corporate guidelines.
  • Build expertise in diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles.
Basic required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years professional experience as a data architect, data engineer, or related role developing conceptual, logical, and preliminary physical models for an enterprise
  • Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, SQL and Cloud technologies
  • Confirmed understanding of data modeling and strong data analysis skills
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Willingness to gain training/certification in designated technologies.
