Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, such as automating operational processes and data reporting. Work closely with internal and external users to develop custom tools or applications, ensure new development can be integrated with existing platforms and aligned with future projects. Maintain and optimize production environment, perform quality checks for existing projects and applications. Handle application rollouts, system upgrades, and resolve production issues as they arise. Suggest technical solutions, provide project estimates and prepare design and coding documents. Respond to, and resolve, application and database performance issues. Required Skills: SQL query skills and experience with SQL relational databases and tools ASP/ASP.NET C# / VB HTML/CSS JavaScript DTS / SSIS / SSRS FTP / SFTP / PGP MS Office VBA Basic understanding of fixed income or broad capital markets Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field 2+ years of work experience in a data intensive role Proficiency in software development Communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, self-starter. Working collaboratively in a team environment (both with the IT team and colleagues in other groups) is critical.
