Position: Data Analyst with Collibra Admin

Location: Dallas, TX.

 

Job Description:

  • Overall experience of 7+ years on administrative activities data including in data governance tools and a specialization of 5+yrs  in Collibra including on Collibra DIC, Console and Collibra DQ platforms.
  • You will be involved in administration on Collibra for release management & deployment, configurations, console management, maintenance and performance management, security, back-up and recovery, third party integrations.
  • You will need to know and operate all Collibra interfaces for platform administration – Collibra Console, Collibra DIC, Edge, Lineage Harvester and Collibra DQ with knowledge on all administrative features in the interfaces above.
  • This is a strategic role and you will be required to manage conversations with Collibra to achieve desired platform administration and resolve any product issues via support tickets, professional services, coaching hours etc.
  • Collibra Asset Model, Organization Structure (Community/Domain set up), Collibra Operating Model (Roles/Responsibilities, User Privileges), Collibra Dashboards, Views, and Data Lineage Diagrams • Thorough understanding of Collibra’s functional & technical architecture across Collibra DIC, Lineage Harvester, Collibra Edge and Collibra DQ
  • Understand Collibra migration and upgrades across the environments using Collibra Migration Utility or CMA file including testing and validating the migration using the simulation files • Ability to configure and/or migrate Collibra workflows using BPMN/ CMA and test related simulations for effective migration
  • Ability to support configuration and integration requirement for third party and external integrations including on MuleSoft
  • Ability to handle Active Directory / User Group management in Collibra including User activity monitoring and reporting
  • Ability to handle User/ User Group onboarding on Collibra with correct privileges, including advising clients on right privileges to manage security and license cost optimization
  • Ability to manage product upgrades, including schedule, planning of green zone for upgrades and support regression testing to ensure no loss of data, functionality etc. due to upgrades
  • Ability to perform back up, recovery, trouble shooting of product issues from users including planning and advising the client on right schedule and practices
  • Strong communication for stakeholder presentation to drive Collibra adoption, business sponsorship and leadership review
  • Strong commitment to excellence in project delivery and learnability to adapt to the changing client needs
  • Problem solving skills to overtake day-day problems in implementation and resolve dependencies with business/ technology
  • Excellent team player in working or managing teams focused upon value delivery to the client.

  • Mulesoft

Nice to Have:

  • Private Banking domain experience.
  • Working experience in a financial service industry
  • Financial application knowledge like FIS AddVantage, CRD, CRM Pivotal.
  • Experience with Data Fabric or related toolsets.
  • Experience with Cloud Data Computing, Snowflake 

 

Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's in Computer Science & Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
