The Cybersecurity Analyst will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s security posture by driving policy, risk, and compliance initiatives while supporting day-to-day security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with business goals
- Lead and manage security risk assessments and overall cybersecurity risk posture
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and related frameworks
- Monitor security infrastructure and respond to incidents, vulnerabilities, and potential breaches
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with IT and business teams during security events
- Manage and support security tools including firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and access controls
- Support internal and external security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Track and report security metrics and KPIs to leadership
- Conduct third-party vendor security assessments and manage related documentation
- Partner with business teams to embed security best practices into daily operations
- Act as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity-related inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent certification (required)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance
Strong knowledge of security frameworks, threat landscapes, and enterprise environments
