Title: Cyber Security Awareness trainer
Location: NYC
Job Type: Contract-1 year
Description:
The OT (Operational Technologies) Security Group is seeking a consultant to support multiple projects focused on OT Cybersecurity Awareness and Training. We want to ensure that the OT workforce has the necessary training to make the right cyber conscious decisions. The ideal candidate would work closely with the training departments across all agencies to assist in developing and managing a comprehensive cyber training program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle and prioritize multiple requests and projects, with quick response times and accuracy in handling details
Assess training needs and recommend changes that will drive our business forward
Arrange for and deliver targeted in-person and online professional learning experiences to all agency stakeholders
Execute classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences and workshops
Prepare training materials, schedules, and agendas
Assist in the design and development of learning programs for a technical workforce
Observe and evaluate the results of courses to improve the effectiveness of the programs
Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for executive audiences
Liaise between the Technical and Non-Technical teams
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in Organizational Training/Teaching and/or related field
A Graduate Degree in a related field and 6+ years of Organizational Training/Teaching experience will also be acceptable in lieu of the 10+ years requirement.
2+ years of experience working in Engineering/Information Security or related technical field
Experience presenting to and interacting with adult learners in a professional training environment
Experience with executing mixed-method trainings, course design documents, implementation strategies, and program evaluations
Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
A high degree of proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to translate complex concepts/data into graphically appealing and easy to understand presentations
Ability to travel to MTA training locations
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Multimedia or related field preferred)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Learning Management Systems
Experience with content production and knowledge of audio/video editing software/tools (Camtasia, Audacity, Visme, A e Suite, Notepad++)
Experience building and implementing training programs from ground up
