Job Title: Customer Service Representative Location: State of Michigan (Remote) Duration: Long Term Employment: Contractual Rate: $Negotiable Role Description: Team Member will take inbound contacts from unemployment applicants via phone or chat platform, answer general questions regarding the programs/processes and perform general unemployment claim management tasks. Team Member will ALWAYS be expected to take inbound calls. Qualifications: Minimum 1yr customer service experience preferably in a call center environment, basic computer skills, proficiency with MS Office, strong verbal and written communication, and HS Diploma or GED Additional Skills: Technology Skills o Basic Computer Skills such as copying and pasting, navigating websites/applications; o Proficient in Microsoft Office such as basic knowledge of working in MS (IE: ppt, excel, word and Outlook), experience with MS Teams, a plus. Communication Skills o Excellent verbal and written communication skills; o Ability to read and interpret documents related to unemployment claims; o Communicate effectively with claimants verbally and via online chat; o Use proper grammar and avoids slang in everyday language. Reasoning Ability o Ability to carry out detailed simple written and oral instructions; o Ability to solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Skills o Time zones applicants need to understand this role will be expected to work scheduled shift in project's time zone o Ability to provide outstanding customer service on a consistent basis; take control of and resolve claimant issues utilizing active listening skills; o Adapt quickly to changing claimant expectations and needs.
