Use multiple websites to screen and make determinations about meeting state requirements. Responsible for processing applications and files for potential and current providers. Data entry of all approved information with expectation of less than a 5% error rate. Must manage multiple tasks and be able to function with strict timelines with minimal supervision. Superior communication skills both written and verbal. Computer proficiency. Accuracy in data entry. Position Description: Position involves processing applications and files for potential and current providers, which involves communicating with the providers to answer questions, resolve issues and clarify information as well as directly with the client to review and get approval on applications and updates 1. What are 3 must have technical skills? a. Ability to access and retrieve information using a PC b. A basic understanding of Microsoft Office products. c. Must demonstrate the ability to listen, talk, type and perform research simultaneously using various research channels, both online and hard copy. 2. What are 3 must have soft skills? a. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. b. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function. c. Communicate via telephone, written correspondence, and/or in person using critical thinking skills to determine needed course of action and resolve inquiries or complaints with appropriate tone and content. 3. What type of individuals excel in your environment and why? a. The individuals we are seeking are motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment. They must be able to multi-task, have good written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone skills, and follow written policies and procedures.
