“Apigee Engineer” and not “Apigee Developer”. An engineer will have design skills with an eye to “automation”. Hope we can find a quality resource.
Few additional points necessary in this context. Wells doesn’t have Apigee SME, they are all figuring out. This person could very well be the one looked upon by client teams.
Technical Skills -
1-3 years hands on experience architecting, designing, and implementing(installation, upgrade, monitoring, alerting, etc Apigee Edge suite of products.
Support API applications by providing monitoring, application, and system support for production application services client facing environments.
Execute Apigee supported OOTB Ansible playbooks and scripts to perform various
Familiar with Apigee supported API authentication mechanisms and supported proxies
Support client team engagements to assist with application related incidents, client testing and integrations
Install, configure specific Apigee features to perform CI, CD, proxy bundle analysis, proxy performance testing etc.
Apigee disaster recovery test planning and execution - application environment review, shutdown, start, verification, troubleshooting
Organizational Skills –
Ability to devise an approach to commonly encountered Apigee problems. Communicate with client teams on the approach, solution to the problems.
