Job description:
The Verizon Digital Personality team is a new internal group tasked with creating and implementing one unified digital personality across all customer touchpoints. As part of this initiative, the team is creating tools with which business users can write the conversational text that is expressive of the personality and govern the compliance of customer interactions to suggestions.
The team is looking for a Technology Architect to help further develop these tools and the overall platform.
As a Technology Architect, you will be working with existing data sets to understand linguistic elements and context as well as perform sentiment analysis to inform logic to be used by the Tool. You will also be tasked with understanding and recommending the appropriate models to determine compliance with the digital personality guidelines.
You’ll need to have:
BS or MS in computer science or equivalent experience
Experience with speech science
Experience with data analysis and machine learning applications
Knowledge of querying from databases
Familiarity with virtual assistants across channels including chat, IVR, smart speaker, and others
Experience in product development / launch / lifecycle for web applications with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience in product development/launch/lifecycle for Android and iOS application development
Experience building scalable infrastructure, REST interfaces, and distributed systems for high-throughput services
Expertise in a variety of programming languages and open-source technologies such as Tensorflow, Theano, Pytorch, Lucerne, Elastic Search
Solid understanding of chatbot/IVR landscape and hands-on experience utilizing API frameworks like Lex, Cortana, DialogFlow, equivalent
Ability to act as a team player, with strong analytical and communication skills
