Location: Remote
Duration: Contract to Hire after 6 months
Key Responsibilities
Team Lead for Product Family delivery team; code reviews, technical designs, agile coaching. ~65% hands-on development
Design, develop, and unit test web and API applications
Create build and release definitions to support CI/CD pipeline
Participate in Scrum activities including planning, estimating, standups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with IT team and business stakeholders on project delivery
Documentation of technical designs and knowledgebase content
Learn other enterprise systems to assist with production support and Helpdesk tickets
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years with FleetNet’s core technologies and development frameworks:
C#, ASP.NET, Web API, ADO.NET, some ORM (EF, NHibernate, Dapper, etc.)
JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with a framework such as Angular or Vue is preferred
T-SQL and basic database design (normalization, indexing, query optimization)
Development and publishing of private Nuget packages
2+ years developing with cloud PaaS. Azure preferred, AWS nice to have
2+ years of hands-on Scrum experience. Kanban nice to have
Experience with distributed systems and modern architectures (microservices, message brokers, etc.) is preferred
Excellent written and oral communication
Ideal Requirements:
Experience delivering a project from inception to production and including production support as a team/technical lead
Growth mindset
Servant leadership
Consulting background. Understands how to establish themselves as a trusted advisor
Ideally has seen or worked in a large dev shop and understands what it takes for a team to scale
