JOB SUMMARY
The vendor will assist the Chrome OS Platform Software in development, testing and validation of cellular connectivity solutions. Responsibilities will include implementation of features, unit testing, system testing, debugging and resolution of issues.
The vendor will also assist in carrier and regulatory certification efforts. The work will involve working with Google engineers and regulatory/support team of Google''s OEM partner to debug and resolve regulatory and carrier test issues.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Feature development for Chrome OS cellular functions using C/C++ and Python.
- Development of cellular test infrastructure and software using Python, Go and C, and incorporating callboxes from Anritsu and Rohde & Schwarz.
- Analysis and debugging of cellular issues on Chrome OS using appropriate linux debug tools as well as debug tools provided by cellular module vendors.
- Responsible for development of cellular manager library interfaces, features and enhancements.
- Responsible for the integration of eSIM support using appropriate diagnostic tools from eSIM module vendors.
- Assist in carrier network certification testing, working with Google OEM partners
