Must have 3+ years of experience with NoSQL databases Proficient in Couchbase administration. Solid knowledge and understanding of Couchbase and NoSQL database concepts Proficient with N1QL including performance tuning Solid understanding of XDCR including troubleshooting Experience with Couchbase on Kubernetes Proficient coding with at least one of following: Python, PHP, Perl, or Java. Good understanding of cloud ecosystem (AWS preferred, Azure, etc Communicate/work effectively in a team environment. Strong with methodologies, tools, best practices, and processes within specific area of responsibility Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong technical documentation and writing skills Other preferred skills: Oracle DB/SQL DB/Oracle DB/ Informatica/ Couchbase/MySQL/ Siebel Roles & Responsibilities: Support day-to-day operations such as cluster metrics, query performance, troubleshoot issues to resolution, ongoing real-time monitoring, alerting and periodic upgrades of Couchbase. Build automation for administration processes Key participant in capacity planning and growth projections. Perform Couchbase environment builds, including design, capacity planning, cluster setup, performance tuning and ongoing monitoring. Collaborate with the application team on the design, data model, and database architecture to ensure platform stability, reliability, and availability. Support application deployments to production including performance and functional testing. Define and implement backup and archival strategies per data retention requirements. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible Monitor and maintain database health and ensure efficient operation. Work with cross functional teams planning, modeling, and implementing solutions utilizing NoSQL technologies. Provide guidance in the creation and modification of standards and procedures. Ensure existing data/information assets are secure and adhering to a best in class security model.
