Job Description :
The Contract Manager will provide contract life-cycle management and support to the organization including negotiating and managing contracts, ensuring compliance, participating in proposal preparation, renewal and modification packages and audit and closeout coordination.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Will be involved in full contract life-cycle management including pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations, contract administration and compliance, contract risk, and contract closeout and audit.
Acts as the liaison between the company and customers/vendors on contract related issues and will ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Participates in contract problem resolution to ensure cost, schedule and performance requirements are met.
Responsible for maintaining contract historical information and the compilation and analysis of data.
Participate in the proposal process in response to Federal, State and Local Government solicitations as well as commercial acquisitions. Primary point of contact for administering and negotiating contractual award transactions.
Will be responsible for maintaining and administering all Federal Supply Schedules, GWACs and IDIQ contracts. This includes preparation of renewals and/or updates of price lists
Will draft/negotiate contracts covering a wide range of business transactions, including NDA's, Teaming Agreements., Subcontracts, Services Agreements, License Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, etc.
REQUIRED:

Eight or more years of demonstrable experience in administering and managing T&M, FFP, CPFF, FPP/LOE and/or IDIQ task order type contracts with Federal, State and Local Governments as well as commercial entities.
Must have working knowledge of FAR and DFAR clauses and experience managing Federal Supply Schedules, GWACs and IDIQ vehicles.
Capability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple, concurrent activities with short turn-around times.
Candidates must have the ability to work independently and make sound business judgments for contractual issues.
Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Skilled and experienced with proofreading and editing proposals and other documents is a plus.
