Locations: Perry Point, MD and Martinsberg ,WV

Minimum Requirements - Contract Specialist II: Shall possess all the demonstrated experience and knowledge requirements delineated below, as verified by a signed and dated resume by the individual and a corporate executive. Experience shall demonstrate abilities to support acquisitions above or below the simplified acquisition threshold.

Experience Requirements: The Contract Specialist II shall have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in conducting comprehensive acquisition support activities with a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as described in this SOW.

Education Requirements: At least 24 semester hours among accounting, law, business, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management or a FAC-C or DAWIA Level II in Contracting Certification. If it is the firm's standard commercial practice to substitute experience for education, please explain in quote.

Additional Required Knowledge and Skills: In addition to the experience and educational requirements described above, the Contract Specialist II shall clearly possess the following knowledge and skills:

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of technical and cost data.

Ability to read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directives.

Ability to provide clear guidance to all lower level acquisition personnel.
