Position: Tableau with BI

Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities:

·        - Manipulating/mining data from databases ( SQL Server, Redshift, Oracle DW, Sales Force)

·        - Tableau experts

·        - Create automated metrics, reports and dashboards using complex databases, data warehouses and web application technologies

·        - Partner with product/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI’s, automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs

·        - Apply deep analytic and business intelligence skill to extract meaningful insight and learning from large and complicated data sets

·        - Collaborate with BI/Data Engineer teams and drive the collection of new data, data manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving and the refinement of existing data sources to continually improve data quality and communication of insights and recommendations

·        - Root cause research to identify process breakdowns within departments and providing data through use of various skill sets to find solutions to breakdown

·        - Foster culture of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.

 

Job Qualifications:

·        - 3-6 years of experience working with large-scale complex datasets

·        - Strong analytical mindset, ability to decompose business requirements into an analytical plan, and execute the plan to answer those business questions

·        - Able to write SQL scripts for analysis and reporting (Redshift, Oracle, MySQL, Web Analytics)

·        - Experience using one or more Python, R, Java, C++, VBA, Matlab with scripting in PERL, UNIX, and VBScript.

·        - Proficiency in any data visualizations such as Tableau, Quick sight, R Shiny, A e Analytics and advanced skills in in Microsoft Excel etc.

·        - Proficiency in data design technologies- create tables, data types, sort keys and schema definition languages (DDL/SDL/XSD/RDF)

·        - Able to work with Cloud-based database solutions (Redshift, S3), AWS components to build data pipelines, user access and system resources

·        - Bachelor's Degree in math/statistics, computer science or related field, or marketing is highly desirable.

·        - Background (academic or professional) in statistics, programming, and marketing

·        - Excellent communication skills, equally adept at working with engineers as well as business leaders
