Contractor’s Role: A successful candidate will be able to work within an Agile team to take on a variety of stories to create cloud platform services and frameworks to build our Private Cloud platform. We are looking for someone who is excited to collaborate in a team, work with many different teams, and help drive our Private Cloud Strategy to meet business innovative objectives.

Qualifications
• Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a Private Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with skills including:
• Prior experience with VMWare vRealize Automation Cloud to design/implement automation solutions using VMWare vRealize Automation Cloud (Cloud Assembly, Codestream, ServiceBroker, VRO) and VMWare Cloud Service
• Experience coding with Ansible and / or Terraform automation scripting languages
• Knowledge of application security and secure software development practices
• Hands-on technical experience in designing, building and securing Self-Service and Private Cloud Automation services
• Experience with assessment, implementation, optimization, and documentation of broad set of security technologies and processes such as data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management, systems security, network security within IaaS, PaaS environments and CI/CD pipeline tooling and deployments
• Experience working in DevOps environment with an ability to script/code
• Experience working with development teams on cloud infrastructure and DEVOPS engineers on the design and build of automated solutions
• Experience in configuration management across multi-cloud platforms
• Displaying skills in TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, packet analysis, etc.
• Understanding of network security design including segmentation, encryption, logging and monitoring
Demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
• Container technology (such as Docker/Kubernetes)
• Ddatabases (such as MySQL, MS-SQL, MongoDB, CockroachDB or Postgresql )
• Middleware (MQ, Weblogic, Tomcat)
• OS (MS Windows, Linux)
• Storage (NAS, S3)
• Development language (such as Java, Perl, PHP or Python)
• Working with code management tooling such as Github or Gitlab
Nice to Haves:
• Familiarity with vulnerability management technologies a plus
• Knowledge in Financial Services and FinTech is a plus
• Using tools like Azure DevOps/VSTS to validate requirements, deploy, and troubleshoot deployments of code and technologies in stage and production environments
• Experience with sub-netting, software defined networking (NSX), and NSX Advanced Load Balancer(AVI) a plus
Tasks & Responsibilities:
•Developing framework and self-service infrastructure provisioning services using our VMWare Cloud Services, Ansible, and other cloud scripting technologies.
•Work within an Agile team to take on a variety of stories to create cloud platform services and frameworks to build our Private Cloud platform.
