Cloud Engineer in NYC
Duration: ~ 12 months contract only. Can be converted if eligible
Client will have Resume review: 9/17

Primary roles are for senior developers who can take the request and deliver clean code in Scala. They are building APIs written in Scala using elastic search as backing search. AWS S3 for storing Audit information where they are logging every request and get historical data on those requests. They have ETL processes written in Spark scala. These touch 86m records of business and are shared across the bank. They have API release coming in next 2 weeks into production.

Projects: They are maintaining 3-4 different work streams.
1: ETL process: How to consume data, convert into document and use in elastic search.
2. APIs: Giving this data to the users and API throughputs versioning new features.

Years of experience: more focus on quality than number of years.
