Job Overview:
Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Client Services Manager to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) division. This role reports directly to the Director or Vice President of RCM and is responsible for overseeing multiple client accounts while ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in hospital revenue cycle processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, from frontline staff to hospital executives. This position requires a hands-on approach as well as a consultative mindset to deliver strategic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison for client support, ensuring strong relationships and consistent communication with both existing and prospective clients.
Drive operational delivery, providing leadership and mentorship to team members to ensure high-quality client outcomes.
Structure, analyze, and resolve revenue cycle challenges such as underpayments, billing, contract or credentialing issues, and reconciliation.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for clients, team members, and vendors.
Build, lead, and motivate a cost-effective team that enables efficient and profitable service delivery.
Support the implementation of new clients and projects, ensuring smooth onboarding and operational readiness.
Prepare and deliver client-facing reports, KPIs, productivity updates, quality metrics, and executive summaries.
Conduct routine on-site client visits to strengthen relationships and proactively address issues.
Partner with the sales team to support business development efforts by participating in sales calls and client meetings.
Collaborate with the software development team to integrate and optimize RCM software tools for client accounts.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the growth and success of the RCM division.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of hospital or vendor-side revenue cycle management (RCM) experience, with a focus on facility/hospital accounts.
Deep understanding of UB-04 billing, AR follow-up, reconciliation, and end-to-end hospital revenue cycle workflows.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft executive summaries, revenue cycle assessments, and client-facing documentation.
Demonstrated analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.
Proven experience with project planning and implementation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); advanced Excel skills required.
Familiarity with a wide range of practice management systems and clearinghouses.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing remote team members and client interactions.
Ability to travel to client sites and company meetings (air and ground travel as needed).
