Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
For this role, the ideal candidate will have 1 or more years of experience supporting Cisco Unified Communication systems. They will be the first point of contact for telephony, messaging, and meeting application requests. Typical responsibilities will include adds, moves, and changes for phone and voicemail, first-level troubleshooting of the UC systems, opening/closing tickets, and escalation of issues when required.
While the primary role will be based around our collaboration and conferencing platforms, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to cross-train on other systems.
In this role, you will:
  • Demonstrate understanding of Cisco Collaboration technologies (CUCM/CUC/Webex)
  • Managing incidents independently regarding the Cisco Unified Communication systems.
  • Manage escalations to other engineers and Cisco TAC when required.
  • Assist with monitoring of responsible systems
  • Create and manage reports
  • Who you are:
You have experience with the following applications:
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager version 11.x or higher
  • Cisco Unity Connections version 11.x or higher
  • Cisco Jabber
  • Cisco Unified Contact Center Express version 11.x or higher
  • Webex Meetings and App
  • You have experience creating, updating, and closing tickets in ServiceNow
  • You understand the network components and technologies used by the Cisco applications
  • You have knowledge supporting end users devices (PCs, phones, tablets)
  • You are results-driven and can make changes to your strategy on the fly.
  • You are a self-learner, curious, and a problem-solver who is not afraid to get your hands dirty and figure things out.
  • You are a team player. This will be a highly collaborative role and we’re looking for someone who can elevate the level of success for the entire team.
  • You are a people person. You will be interacting with our customer base constantly so having great presentation skills is a must.
