Role: Cisco MDS Engineer
Duration: 11 months contract
Location: NY, NY (initially remote, Being onsite when covid restrictions are lifted)

Our client, located in NY, NY, is currently in need of a Cisco MDS Engineer. The consultant will start remote then move to onsite delivery post covid. The consultant will be responsible for leading Cisco MDS project tasks as the customer migrates from Brocade to Cisco MDS switches. They are new to Cisco so there will be a lot of hand-holding with the customer through the process.
Responsibilities:
· Day to day networking activities/tasks
· Conducts knowledge transfer of Cisco features, management and admin activities
· Reviews IT processes and policies
· Conduct knowledge transfer to address the customer's skills/gaps as well as technology recommendations
· Resident is expected to be self-directed, able to accomplish tasks with little to no direction.
Required Skills:
· Strong Cisco MDS experience
