In apartnership with a Sr Accessibility team member:
Work closely with firm leadership and accessibility advocates tosupport firm-wide accessibility initiatives and to define and maintain currentroadmap, vision and strategy for digital accessibility within the firm
Utilizing and interpreting internal and external research, makecredible recommendations for individual assistive technology needs of firmemployees
Develop digital accessibility training materials, and conducttraining sessions and shape guidance with development, design, and/or contentcreators
Evaluate, select, and onboarding vendor products for accessibilityand contribute to information technology procurement processes.
PositionRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Psychology,Instructional Design or Computer Science preferred, or related workexperience
2 years of experience assessing digital materials (Interfaces,PDFs, etc that adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG, WAI-ARIA)
4 years of experience developing, designing or maintainingdesktop, mobile and responsive web applications with web technologies (HTML,CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
2 years of experience with accessibility standards and guidelines(WCAG, WAI-AIRA
Proficient with multiple accessibility and assistive technologytesting tools such as JAWS, Dragon, Fusion, deque, Wave, ZoomText.
2 years of experience conducting system analysis; planning,designing, analyzing, testing, and implementing accessibility solutions.
Experience with working collaboratively with product teams todevelop, maintain, and implement applications, regarding digital accessibilitytechnologies, policies, standards, and best practices
2 years of experience documenting test plans, expected testresults, actual test results, identified issues, and steps to replicateaccessibility findings
Knowledgeable in multiple user experience disciplines (Research,Design, Engineering), techniques, and processes
Proficient in mentoring and/or coaching multiple product teamswithin an agile software development organization
Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal)skills, and the ability to present ideas, thoughts, arguments, and informationclearly.
Expert in facilitating remediation of accessibility issues withlittle guidance
Proficient in creating and maintaining best practice documentationand practices, used across multiple systems and functional areas
