Qualifications:
- Programming Language Experience: Python
- Experience working on a Hadoop Framework
- ETL Orchestration: Apache Airflow
- Big Query experience is preferred
- SQL experience is required
Pluses:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Day to Day:
We are seeking a local ETL Data Engineer to support a large automotive client out of Dearborn, MI. The ETL Data Engineer will be responsible for taking the ETL functions from the Hadoop Platform and moving them to Astronomer. The ETL Data Engineer is supporting a project that creates aggregated analytics tables for dashboards that are used within the company by their data team. The goal of these dashboards is to take all of the information and data and use the metrics that are identified to measure dealer performance.
