1) Looking for CC++, Linux, TCPIP Consultant===100% Onsite
Location: North Reading, MA
NOT REMOTE
Develop and maintain embedded firmware for various microcontrollers and microprocessors within anautomated hard drive test system.
Primary responsibilities will include:C/C++ development on Linux. – Hands on codingExperience
C# development on Windows. On-site customer supportmay be required, which will include defining interfaces and re- hosting testprograms. Qualified applicantsmust have:Minimum ten years’experience5+ years’ experienceprogramming in C/C++ for 8-bit and 16-bit embedded Linux for 32-bitmicroprocessors (PowerPC and ARM architectureExperience developinghigh performance software. Knowledgeable of software performance profiling andhigh performance software techniques. 5+ years’ experienceprogramming C# on Windows. Solid understanding ofreal time programming, concurrency, multi-threading. Additional desiredskills:Ability to readschematics and work with test equipment such as DVMs, oscilloscopes, logicanalyzers. Background in Hard diskdrive and/or test equipment industry is a plusExperience modifying andmaintaining Linux Kernel, root file system, uBoot and cross compilation toolsis a plus. Experience with TI MSP430 family of microcontrollers. Comfort with all of thefollowing technologies: SPI buses, I2C buses, PID control, fixed point math, async/sync serial bus, DDR, memory, FPGA buses. Ability to read andunderstand IC datasheets and user guides. Experience with Clientand ARM architecturesAdditional programminglanguages : Python, XML, Mono is a plusTools: Eclipse IDE, TICode Composer, GIT source control, Visual Studio is a plusEither a basic or Expertlevel knowledge on Firmware is mandatory.
