Title: Capacity Planning Analyst Duration: 1 Year + Location: Dallas, Texas Job Description This position, within the Infrastructure Operations and Reliability Engineering organization, is responsible for global capacity management functions for our bare metal and hypervisor fleet. This role works closely with both Infrastructure Operations and Offering Management to forecast capacity demands, develop trending analysis to shift capacity between data centers and provide recommendations for new product capacity requirements. Key Responsibilities Building ongoing forecasts vs. actual analysis and efficiency to ensure sufficient staffing levels Developing short-term volume forecasts by site and skills to achieve service level commitments Leading weekly forecast review meetings with business partners to communicate volume requirements for next week and provide directions to optimize resources Providing analysis on historical metrics and performance Creating ad-hoc reports to help drawing actionable insight Required Skills: Ability to work independently with minimal direction while still accomplishing established goals. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills. Thrive in a high-pressure environment and effectively prioritize and execute tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and technical staff. Ability to conceptualize solutions from general information, limited uncertainty, and defined opportunities. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Required Experience: Four to six years of relevant capacity management experience. Experience formulating SQL statements to extract data from Oracle or similar databases. Advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel and knowledge of all MS Office products. Experience across typical workforce management disciplines: interval level forecast, scheduling, proficient level reporting skills, and experience optimizing manpower in contact center environments. Desired Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or Business Administration. Experience managing capacity for global operations. Familiarity with project tracking applications preferably JIRA. Familiarity with Oracle or similar database.
