Position Title: Project Scientific Manager III Location: Fort Belvoir VA Employee Status: Contract Job Summary Amentum is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to provide support to the Army's PEO Soldier, PM Close Combat Squad (PM CCS), Ground Soldier Systems product office at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Our PM CCS team thrives in a culture of innovation and is constantly seeking individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both operational and procedural at the team and portfolio levels. The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial. The ideal candidate will possess and independently apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments; may be assigned responsibility to participate in or lead task-related efforts to: Work with the Government leadership and subject matter experts to determine requirements and schedules for each functional discipline consistent with the project requirements. Establish overall solutions reflecting client requirements and good technical practice. Coordinate the technical activities among multiple functional disciplines across the project. As appropriate, provide subject matter expertise in support of the following project task areas; engineering and test, acquisitions, logistics, equipment fielding and training, operations, and other areas as assigned. Schedule and coordinate meetings between Project leadership, subject matter experts and outside stakeholders. Keep government Product Manager and Deputy Product Manager advised of project progress, performance and schedule with particular attention to delays, adverse trends, and risk. Assure proper documentation of meetings, agreements, conversations, etc. that affect the conduct of the project. Encourage and assist in the technical development of peers. Minimum Requirements - Bachelor`s Degree and greater than 15 years relevant experience OR Master`s Degree and greater than 12 years relevant experience. - Experience support Army engineering and test, acquisitions and logistics. - Must have an active Secret clearance. Must be a US citizen. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting Army`s PEO Soldier program - Experience and expertise in overseeing government acquisition, test and evaluation, and systems integration programs for the DoD - Experience supporting multiple government agencies, most recently supporting a high visibility rapid acquisition program designed to deliver immediate technology solutions to our Nation's Armed Forces
