Support daily system requirements. Essential Job Functions Support various TSQL databases including Sybase, Microsoft SQL and MySQL. Provide system and database administration duties as required Support application developers by writing database queries, stored procedures and altering current stored procedures when necessary. Be proficient in data joins and aggregation. Translate business requests into logical calculations for implementation with internal Development teams. Facilitate ETL projects as needed and liaison between internal teams and external vendors. Manage user requests through ticketing/project management systems. Interface with third party support and external developers. Assist with interface(s) with 3rd party financial systems. Provide support to application users. Develop application user/management reports. Test new application releases. Develop and manage functional enhancement specifications. Interface/Support departments within Bay Alarm All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other duties as assigned. Requirements/Skill: Technical degree from four-year college is required. Expert TSQL skills required. Advanced korn/bash shell skills required. Advanced programming competence required. Working knowledge of UNIX and Linux required. Excellent analytical skills required. Good organization and follow up skills required. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Advanced Systems design and strategic skills preferred. Production support experience required.
