Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer San Jose, CA Long Term contract to Hire The Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer will be responsible for further developing and maintaining control systems for GTE across multiple subsystems. It is a unique opportunity to work on a high performance four motor electric supercar. The successful candidate should have a strong interest in cars and be willing to work both on site in San Jose as well as supporting remote service work and track driving events across the US and abroad as required. Duties & Responsibilities Deliver robust application code to control vehicle systems Define and implement validation and verification efforts at component and system level Perform testing on ECUs and deploy into vehicle Define hardware design requirements for PCBs and ECUs Provide guidance for LV system design and wiring Collaborate with other EE/Controls Engineers on vehicle-wide controls Requirements: 10+ years of experience with design and implementation of controls, especially related to vehicle body controls/diagnostics/communication required; Extensive experience with CAN networks required Extensive experience with MATLAB/Simulink is required Knowledge of formal verification and validation processes BS or MS in Electrical or Systems Engineering Experience with high voltage systems is preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrates creativity and ability to use independent judgement Referral Program: Ask our recruiting team about how you can be a part of our referral program.
