Oracle EBS Financial Consultant (70% Functional and 30% Technical) Milwaukee, WI Long term Minimum 8 Years of Functional experience in leading oracle applications projects in the functional area of Oracle Finance which includes Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Costing, WIP and Fixed Assets. Complete understanding of legal entity structure and its impact on sub-ledgers Setup and Configure Organization Structure including Legal entities, Operating units and Inventory Orgs Setup and configure Oracle Payable, Receivable, General Ledger Fixed Assets, Inventory and costing for a new operating units with minimum direction. Hands on and working knowledge of Oracle R12 transaction flows with the accounting entries is required Define and drive reconciliation of financial data from Legacy system to Oracle E-business suites Lead and manage all Finance related Oracle data conversion activities like Open Payable, Open Receivables, Open Accrual, Fixed Assets, Item Cost and Inventory. Design and document Oracle ERP based solutions to meet business requirements. Understanding of Oracle R12 Structure and Financial Module tables structure is required Define requirements, configure standard applications, provide gap analysis and design, and end-user training. Finance conversions & RICE Components and effectively documents like AS-IS and To-BE Process including the Process Flows are required Gather business requirements and AS-IS processes, integrate with IT and business stakeholders to map processes, identify GAPs and define solutions Hands on experience on Troubleshooting Setup and Configuration related issues Strong documents like MD 50 /CV 55 like Payable, Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Inventory and effectively document the AS-IS and To-BE Process and the Process Flows Must have prior experience working with Off-shore team Other Requirements Must have prior experience working with Off-shore team Implement and rollout solutions in Oracle R12 in Finance areas like Payable ,Receivable ,General Ledger ,Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Inventory and Costing. Working knowledge of other modules such as BOM, Routing, Work in Process, Purchase Order and Order Management will be an added advantage. Design and document Oracle ERP based solutions to meet business requirements. Configure Finance modules for various milestones (like conference room pilots, user acceptance, go-live) and co-ordinate with IT stakeholders (onsite as well as offshore) to design, development and test of solutions Recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency of existing or proposed solutions, drive business process reengineering and implementation of lean concepts or best practices. Perform conference room pilots, user acceptance and other required activities for Oracle ERP implementation projects. Lead change management aspects like introducing end-users to Oracle ERP based solutions, providing training to end-users, assisting users in developing use cases and test scripts and executing them, and assisting in incident management and resolution. Drive business process reengineering and related lean concepts through Oracle ERP and related information systems best practice deployment. Researches and evaluates new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs. Extensive experience in implementation, upgrade and production support of Oracle Applications R12 and should be able to conduct and lead Scoping, CRP, UAT & Cutover activities. Experience in the creation, managing and resolution of Oracle SRs with Oracle Support. Utilize Oracle Databases 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g, Oracle Applications R12, Financial Modules - Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Costing and Inventory Oracle implementation, Upgrade and Support, Oracle databases, tables, PL/SQL, and SQL Developer.
