Title: MS exchange engineer with e-discovery Location: Seattle, WA Duration: Contract Client: Brillio Job Description: The Senior Microsoft Exchange Engineer will be a member of the Managed IT Services team providing direct E-Discovery and Exchange engineering and administration services support to the County of Orange. This includes the administration of the Microsoft Exchange services environment system necessary to deliver the required services (e.g., Exchange server management and configuration, complex e-Discovery search and export criteria, creation/maintenance/running of PowerShell scripts in support of e-Discovery requests and other Microsoft Exchange administration duties as assigned) to support Orange County's business applications and usage. The Senior Microsoft Exchange Engineer will be a technical resource within the Orange County Information Technology (OCIT) Shared Services team providing Microsoft Exchange services support on-site at the customer location in Santa Ana, California. Detailed Responsibilities: Provide Mid-Level (Tier 2/3) Exchange server system administration services for multi-Forest Enterprise-level services environments supporting both On-Premise and O365 implementations. Provide Mid-Level (Tier 2/3) system administration services support for the Exchange On-Premise and O365 infrastructure software and configurations to meet current and evolving customer requirements. Provides onsite Exchange server technical support to both OCIT Shared Services staff and end-users. Apply patches, prepare/implement/test upgrades for the Exchange environment. Act as Technical Lead on Exchange server infrastructure projects and implementations as required. Develop, document and maintain E-Discovery processes to meet customer demands and requirements. Act as Technical Lead on Exchange server infrastructure projects and implementations as required. Interface with other OCIT Shared Services team members, CISO team members, Client team members and end-users as required. Typical Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and related technical training and/or certifications. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Required Skills: 7+ years' experience providing Advanced Level system engineering and administration expertise in multi-Forest Enterprise-level services environments. 3+ years' experience as a member of a managed IT Services team supporting an Enterprise level customer environment. 2+ years' experience using the e-Discovery services components of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010/2016/Exchange Online. Advanced level system administration expertise in Microsoft Server 2003/2008/2012/2016, certifications beneficial. Advanced Level system administration expertise in Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2016, certifications beneficial. Advanced level expertise and technical knowledge of Powershell (Active Directory/Exchange DESIRED Skills: Technical lead project experience in completing Microsoft Exchange services upgrades from 2010 to 2016. Recent project experience in transitioning Enterprise Level Exchange services environment to O365. Proficiency in provisioning and support of Microsoft Cloud / Azure services (Exchange Online and Exchange Online Protection IT managed services experience supporting enterprise level customer environments.
