Business Systems Analyst Position Details: Location: San Ramon, CA (Remote during Covid but has to be local to Bay Area) Type: 8-12 Month Contract Must have TN Visa, GC, or USC (no H1B) Looking for someone with more than 7+ years of experience with excellent communication skills and coming from good company. Job Role: As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring business and technology requirements are appropriately defined, documented and agreed upon by collaborating with users, internal teams and vendors. You will be responsible for leading discussions, preparing requirements, specifications, business process flows and providing recommendations based on your professional experience and understanding of industry best practices, and company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Lead detailed analysis activities and discussions to capture requirements, defined scope and objectives, and user-system/system-system interactions as well as narrative and pictorial artifacts. Prepare technical artifacts, documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information from subject matter experts. Evaluate existing processes and supporting systems to assess operational efficiencies; develop recommendations for improvement and evaluate alternative solutions as needed. Assist with the development of integration and quality assurance testing as needed by defining test cases, coordinating testing activities and summarizing test results for management's review. Lead and direct the work of others as needed. Provide project management for projects on an as needed basis. Analyze data to develop process and technology change recommendations. Key Qualifications: Minimum 5 years' professional experience or equivalent education in identifying, analyzing, and documenting use cases and requirements; analyzing application features and functions to assess scope and impact of business needs; conducting workflow, process diagrams and gap analysis; writing specifications for conversion or interface programs. Ability to work with all levels of users across an organization with little or no instruction on day-to-day activities. Proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated technical aptitude with technical data analysis, functional design, modeling, system development processes, and system testing. Knowledge and understanding of frameworks and best practices such as ITIL, COBIT and ISO 27001 Six Sigma training or project experience a plus Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite of products with an emphasis on Visio and Excel Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area preferred. Experience with any of the following applications is a plus: Salesforce Sales Cloud & Service Cloud Netsuite Logisense Remedyforce Gainsight Steelbrick
