SCOPE OF SERVICES
The CONSULTANT will be responsible for working closely with the user community and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture, refine, validate, and communicate, in clear and concise language, the requirements of business systems. The consultant must be adept at working collaboratively with the general user community and project teams. The consultant must have recent experience with configuring and implementing solutions.
Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with customers to gather information, define complex work problems, and designs a system and procedures to resolve problems.
• Lead functional analysis to document complex process steps, tasks, and their inter-relationships.
• Communicate with both SMEs and members of the development staff. Translates SME information into a form understandable by the development team.
• Facilitate requirements gathering and documentation efforts, specifically in the specified areas. • Analyze customizations and facilitate fit/gap analysis.
• Document and refine functional requirements to include: prioritization, elimination, and consolidation.
• Document requirements for internal and external interfaces, reporting, workflow, and security for implement a citywide grants management system.
• Document functional Use Test Cases and scripts.
• Identifies, documents, and escalates risks and issues.
• Develops, coordinates, and implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
• Develops training documentation and user aids and conducts workshops to train the users.
