This role is 100% remote, but candidates must be able to travel to Washington at least twice a year. .
The candidate must have previous pharmaceutical experience and research systems experience.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of various software applications to determine their compatibility, functionality, and potential for integration within the organization's infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including IT teams, project managers, and end-users, to gather requirements and understand business objectives.
- Evaluate technical specifications, system architecture, and data models to identify integration points and potential challenges.
- Develop detailed documentation, including functional requirements, use cases, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Facilitate communication between different teams involved in the integration process to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Utilize expertise in pharmaceutical research systems to provide insights and recommendations on the selection and integration of specialized software tools.
- Conduct impact assessments and risk analyses to anticipate and mitigate potential issues during the integration process.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to understand product capabilities and integration options.
- Participate in testing activities, including test case development, execution, and defect resolution, to ensure the quality and reliability of integrated systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a technical environment, with a focus on software integration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical research systems and familiarity with industry-specific tools and applications.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical requirements and system architectures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in documenting requirements and technical specifications using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) and relevant technical certifications are a plus.
- Recent, prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is required.
