Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Procurement and Software Licensing Analyst. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing procurement processes, software licensing agreements, and contracts. This role requires expertise in negotiating software contracts, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and develop effective strategies.
  • Assist in the creation of procurement documents, including Statements of Work (SOW), and ensure adherence to company policies.
Software Licensing:
  • Manage the licensing process for software applications, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
  • Negotiate software agreements, contracts, and licenses with vendors to secure favorable terms.
Contract Management:
  • Assist in the development and management of contracts related to software procurement.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of contract documents, including terms, conditions, and pricing.
Buyer Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal buyers to understand software requirements and specifications.
  • Provide guidance on software procurement processes and compliance.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of software licenses, agreements, and procurement activities.
  • Generate reports on software licensing compliance and procurement status as needed.
Vendor Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with software vendors.
  • Address issues and concerns related to software agreements and licenses.
Analysis and Research:
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about software licensing trends and industry best practices.
  • Analyze software licensing agreements to identify cost-saving opportunities.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in procurement, software licensing, or contract management roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable terms and conditions.
  • Familiarity with legal aspects of software licensing agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
