Role: Salesforce QA Lead
Location: Dallas TX. This job is 100% remote, but candidates are local and can come in for meeting occasionally that would bepreferred.
Visa; contract to hire is highly preferred, might be ableto try HIB for contract only

POSITION PURPOSE
The Quality Assurance Lead will be the quality gate keeper for projects developed on Salesforce platform. In this role, the Lead will own the test planning, execution and help to drive the test automation strategy adhering to the agile methodology for salesforce implementations. Must have hands on experience with Test Automation & Test management tools to performvarious types of testing to meet the needs of the projects.
The Quality Assurance Lead will closely work with the vendor team and report into the Senior Manager Quality Assurance. In his/her role, theLead will implement industry best practices that are required while enhancing the current processes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, plans, executes, and maintains test cases, scripts, plans and protocols for products under development.
Work with different technical teams such as Development, Operations, &Architecture to discuss test results (both functional and performance) and troubleshoot issues
Advises on all aspects of QA including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals aremet.
Help with solving complex defects/issues whichare currently in production (Logger issues, unspecified error issues etc.
Participate in all QE activities through implementations.
Define the Test Automation framework, scripting and make sure the team is deliveringthem within the sprint.
Should be a quick learner, understand the multiple systems and how they talk to eachother, and help the team in thinking beyond on the system integration tests.
Identifies opportunities for test process improvement and looks for continuous improvementthat delivers value for the external customer.
Acts as key point of contact for all QA aspectsof releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally; maintain excellent relationships with key customer stakeholders andmanage their expectations.
Collaborates and mentors QA team members.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive daily touch points with the offshore team and drive prioritization deliverables.
Identify critical needs and drive resolution within the team that is hindering the Quality deliverables.
Run smoke tests in Production.
Review the production defects time to time andrun the root cause analysis.
SKILLS
Experience with configurations and customizations of Salesforce, including Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, Formulas, Approval Process.
Knowledge of Salesforce configuration, Data migration, System integration Testing
Strong analytical skills, decision making, and a drive to be proactive in recommending solutions that satisfy stakeholder asks.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to communicate effectively to internal and external team members.
Experience in SQL database, DB validation of Microsoft SQL and Oracle platforms databases.
Leadership skills, ability to lead and mentor a team of QE Professionals.
Self-driven; ability to work with minimal supervision and to meet project timelines within given parameters.
Ability to be a role model and coach to the team; takes a one team collaborativeapproach.
Well versed with Test Automation.
Strong in Test management tools – ADO, Rally ,Jira.
EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND
A minimum of 8 years of experience in areas ofSoftware Development and Quality Engineering including Functional testing,System Integration Test, Regression Test, Smoke Test, Performance andScalability Testing and Automated Testing.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in Salesforce platform
Experience with APIs and API testing tools
Experience in coordinating and driving User Acceptance Testing.
Strong in Database testing.
5 years of Web/Mobile automation experience(API and UI), with hands on framework designing and seasoned player indelivering the projects within the timelines.
2 years of experience working on projects driven within the Agile methodology.
Experienceleading work streams effectively with offshore teams.
Prefer knowledge and experience in Salesforce.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/related is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel occasionally as necessary.
