Summary:

  • As a key member of the Product Development team for Private Equity Platforms, the Business Analyst will play a critical role in the implementation and execution of strategic initiatives. This position requires close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional global teams to ensure product development goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.
  • The Business Analyst will be responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking progress against milestones, and providing detailed analysis and reporting to support data-driven decision-making. The role emphasizes operational support, resource coordination, and contributing to the continuous improvement and rollout of platform enhancements aligned with the firm’s strategic vision.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and execution of strategic product initiatives for private equity platforms.
  • Coordinate project activities and monitor progress against established plans and timelines.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with product, operations, and technology teams to drive platform enhancements.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to inform product direction.
  • Perform competitor analysis and contribute to strategic and tactical planning.
  • Define priorities, manage development roadmaps, and oversee client rollout strategies.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across global teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Identify and resolve operational or execution challenges as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with strong technical knowledge of private investment processing and accounting.
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in the private equity industry, preferably within product development or operations.
  • Working knowledge of private equity fund administration, including:
    • Lifecycle of investor activity
    • Fund investments, rebalancing, and liquidations
    • Waterfall calculations and rebalancing processes
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis and data mapping.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience partnering with development teams to execute on platform strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across global, cross-functional teams.
