JOB OVERVIEW:

 

Professional Experience required:

·        5+ years of IT industry experience working as a Business Analyst.

·        Gained comprehensive knowledge from working in several software development life cycle processes, such as Agile methodologies and acquired hands on experience in Scrum.

·        Successfully elicited requirements using analysis like As-is and To-be, Must Have and Good to Have, GAP analysis, SWOT analysis, impact analysis and cost/benefit analysis.

·        Participated in all Scrum ceremonies Master, incorporated sprint ceremonies on projects (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, sprint retrospective) and backlog grooming session or story times.

·        Skilled at using estimation techniques such as Planning Poker, T-shirt sizing, and relative mass evaluation.

·        Evaluate statistical Data and execute dada mining for large data sets using MS excel, Sas and R.

·        Proficient using prioritization techniques such as Walking Skeleton, Validated Learning, Business-value based, MoSCoW and Kano.

·        Ensured adherence to INVEST (Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Small, and Testable) criteria and SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely) model.

·        Experienced using MS Visio for creating Unified Modelling Language (UML) diagrams, workflow diagrams, dataflow diagrams, process flow diagrams.

·        Produced document artefacts such as Business Requirement documents (BRD), Use-case specifications, system requirements specifications (SRS), functional specification documents, (FSD) Requirement tractability documents (RTD), data mapping documents and data dictionary documents.

·        Developed test cases, test plans and test strategy to ensure quality.

·        Conducted and administered several types of testing, for instance, User acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, integration testing, smoke testing, sanity testing.

·        Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, communication skills (both oral and written), leadership skills, time management and interpersonal skills.

·        Proficient in writing SQL Queries to fetch data from multiple tables and also check for data integrity.

·        Interview key functional and technical personnel, complete analysis of existing data, systems and processes, and collect relevant data and workflows to define user system requirements.

·        Experience and proficiency in JIRA/confluence.
