Position: Business Analyst - Digital Interfaces
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 15+ months


Candidates must have: 1) recent Banking Industry experience; 2) Digital Interfaces project experience as a BA; 3) Must be local as in person interviews are required.


Responsibilities and Duties:
This position is responsible for performing the duties of an SME Business Analyst.
Responsibilities include:
Performing various tasks relating to Requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
Interface and work closely with the vendor and business to determine the best configuration of the application
Manage and strongly Interface with the conversion teams of the sending and receiving applications to assure data mapping for all conversions is defined, developed, tested and implemented successfully
Work closely with the business community to recommend and advise on application functionality and best practices for process flows utilizing the application
Own, manage, and improve upon a consistent approach to the Requirements & Design Phase of development.
The candidate will work with business user community to ensure coordination between related efforts including the execution of user acceptance testing as well as issue tracking
Participate in all meetings with the both the business and technology teams to receive advise on specifics for requirements.
The candidate will also have the responsibility of ensuring that the delivered solution and the configuration in the application meets the business requirement
Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirement documents.
Advise on changes to baseline requirements through the change control process
Participate and advise on the creation of test scripts including specific test cases and expected results
Review System Integration Testing (SIT) test plan to ensure coverage of test scenarios in SIT.
Advise on User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans that will ensure business requirements have been met.
Advise and participate in analysis to determine and verify business requirements and functional design
Utilizes standard processes, design and testing tools throughout project development life cycle
