BUSINESS ANALYST
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Primary responsibility for business analysis and document functional requirements
· Coordination between Off-Shore and On-Shore teams
· Manage the VSTS environment
· Perform requirements gathering from LOL business & technical teams and work with development team to develop appropriate solutions
· Document and manage requirements using VSTS
· Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies including Daily Scrums, Planning, Retro, Demo meetings
· Lead Backlog Prioritization meetings
· Perform analytical troubleshooting to identify root cause of issues and bugs
· Develop and maintain application documentation per LOL standards
· Manage and organize implementation planning for production releases
· Provide feedback to team members as appropriate
· Coordinate activities across teams as necessary
· Effectively manage multiple priorities
· Perform additional job-related duties as requested
REQUIREMENTS
· Thorough working knowledge of the SDLC models/methodologies, IT systems and their direct implementation to projects
· Leadership and management skills in leading technical personnel through the delivery of software development projects
· Strong business and systems analysis skills, test planning and testing skills, troubleshooting skills and experience with numerous environments and architectures
· Ability to apply common, object-oriented modeling techniques, including use case, activity and sequence diagrams
· Experience in data gathering and facilitation techniques
· Experience with requirements management, use case and modeling tools
· Experience with applying and general knowledge of various analysis and gathering approaches, methodologies and models
· Demonstrated leadership and attention to detail skills through prior experience at the strategic and tactical/implementation levels.
· Strong analytical and planning skills/experience with software development projects
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, General Information Technology or a related field, AND at least 5 (five) years of relevant experience in business analysis with software development projects, OR relevant combination of education and experience
· Preferred: eCommerce project experience
· Independently motivated, good communicator, comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiples balls in the air
· High sense of responsibility for the quality and goals of the project
· Ability to prioritize, communicate, and get things done.
