Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: Long Term Contract
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully analyzing business processes and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify business needs, objectives, and opportunities.
- Develop detailed business requirements documents, user stories, and use cases.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to elicit requirements and gather feedback.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed solutions.
- Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Perform data analysis and present findings to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, UML).
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL querying is a plus.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is preferred but not required.
