Job Description :
Position: Business Analyst (Hospitality Domain) Location: Bethesda, MD / Start with Remote Term: 6+ Months (Possible Extension) Only GC/Citizen /GC EAD / H4 EAD / TN Responsibilities: Facilitates business requirements analysis and functional design work sessions including creating business presentations, communications, and documentation. Lead functional design including demonstrations to stakeholders to validate approach. Lead detailed requirements definitions including review and signoff with stakeholders. Demonstrated experience working with cross functional team analysts, project managers and product owners to build a prioritized backlog of artifacts for multiple products. Experienced in Epic creation, user story documentation, acceptance criteria evaluation. Good understanding of process mapping, user journey, as-in and to-be entity diagrams. Identifies creative solutions to business requirements, analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of alternatives, and provides recommendations. Work and collaborate with external vendors and analogous companies to obtain additional insights, approaches, and demonstrations of PMS solutions. Document functional, integration, and testing requirements as well as SLAs and operating level agreements. Work with the IT Architecture & Development organization during development to address functional requirements and functional design clarifications. Demonstrated experience working on Agile teams, Strong communication skills, including experience facilitating requirements analysis and functional design working sessions. Demonstrated knowledge of data management and reporting/analytics related business functions and applications. Experience identifying and analyzing alternative solutions to complex business requirements and providing guidance and advice Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams as deemed necessary. Excellent analytical skills to analyze and conceptualize solutions for complex problems. Experience with business process re-engineering, strong process management, negotiating, influencing, and problem resolution skills. Experience completing information technology cost/resource estimates to implement and support solutions. Trains and/or mentors other team members, and peers as appropriate. Experience with Hospitality Industry, Hospitality IT or Hotel Property Management Software products desired. Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence desired.
