Job Title: Business Analyst / Data Analyst (CCAR Data Management)

Responsibilities
Elicit requirements: work with the bank's Finance SMEs (Regulatory Reporting or Treasury departments) to decompose various regulatory reporting requirements into data requirements (CDEs Critical Data Elements) or KDEs (Key Data Elements), document the results and confirm them.
Analyze the requirements: organize and prioritize the requirements elicited, model the requirements, determine assumptions and constraints, and validate these.
Develop source-to-target data mappings: map the data flows from source systems to target systems, potentially across multiple intermediate layers, inclusive of any transformations in between.
Manage and communicate the requirements: Manage the solution, requirements scope and traceability, with an eye towards future reuse.
Assess and validate the solution: assess the requirements coverage and validate the solution.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in IT or Computer Science
Proficiency with SQL and the ability to query / profile data across multiple data sources and formats.
Prior experience in working with CCAR reports (FR Y14-A, FR Y14-Q, FR Y14-M) or other SIFI reporting requirements (e.g., 2052a)
Strong exposure in performing GAP analysis.
Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Strong banking domain knowledge familiarity with commercial lending & leasing, mortgages, deposits and factoring
Experience generating process documentation and reports.
Preferred qualifications
Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio.
Any prior experience working with report generation applications like Axiom or One Sum X
Proven capabilities in project and user-testing management
Proven development of innovative and impactful systems solutions
