Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Chandler, AZ Job Type: Contract Job Description: Understand the requirements, analyze data quality, conduct data profiling and generate reports in order to provide support to the teams to understand how analysis can meet the requirements within the defined guidelines Must have Hands-On experience in Oracle database, SQL server or other widely used database platforms and Cloud native databases like Snowflake Good understanding of data modeling concepts viz. ER, Dimensional Model Good to have basic understanding of data reporting/visualizing tools including, but not limited to SAS, Tableau etc. Applies software life-cycle methodologies (both waterfall and Agile) and discipline throughout the project lifecycle with ability to define Epic, User Stories, Story points as part of Agile Methodologies Good to have understanding of Healthcare digitalization initiatives viz. HEDIS, HIE, Vendor Delegations and CMS Interoperability programs. Knowledge of clinical coding terminology such as ICD-10, HCPCS, NDC, LOINC, USCDI etc. Knowledge of current healthcare data transmission standards such as HL7, JSON, and CCDA is preferred. Good Communication and good listening skills Good client interfacing skills. Capable to work efficiently with multiple teams and multiple vendor environment. Identify opportunities of innovation and improvement based on industry knowledge. Demonstrate fluency in MS Office suite, MS Visio, JIRA and confluence. Strong analytics, organizational and problem solving skills. Deep understanding of Provider business operations including but not limited to accounting, revenue cycle, patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, budgets, purchasing, asset management, contract negotiations, audits, EDI transactions with payers etc. Applies service line analysis and provide strategies leading to process improvement and cost savings Qualifications: Knowledge of current healthcare data transmission standards such as HL7, JSON, and CCDA is preferred.
