Job Description :
We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a Business Analyst role.
The Information Technology (IT) Applications, Medicaid/CHIP Systems (IT-MCS) team has initiated the MCS – SAVERR to TOA Remediation – PPS & TMTS project. This project will remediate SAVERR code in the Premiums Payable System (PPS) and Texas Medical Transportation System (TMTS) by replacing SAVERR code with TOA code and business logic. The Systems Analyst is an Information Technology (IT) position and will analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automated and business processes. The Systems Analyst will collaborate with business subject matter experts and develop User Stories. The Systems Analyst will provide analysis and testing services for the implementation of the Managed Care Organization (MCO) Non-Risk Payment System (MCNPS). This position will provide requirements analysis to create test cases and scripts for functional and nonfunctional requirements, prepare test data, execute test scripts, analyze data, support user acceptance testing.
Skills(Required):
  • Effectively communicate with non-technical audience to understand business needs and explain complex systems and technical topics in clear and concise manner
  • Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with technical, non-technical and different levels of users
  • Skilled in meeting facilitation and requirements gathering
  • Skilled in developing and documenting business process work flows
  • Skilled in developing and executing Test Scripts
  • Skilled in developing Test Plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing
  • Skilled in developing User Stories
  • Skilled in Use of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience supporting software development using Agile methodology

Skills(Preferred):
  • Project experience supporting JAVA J2EE applications development teams
  • Experience with Health and Human Services or other State Agency.
